What this site is

nilvado is an independent editorial publication about the architecture and engineering of casino resorts. It is published for information and criticism. It is not professional advice of any kind, and it is not a booking or reservation service.

We are not a resort, an operator, a travel agent, an affiliate or a gambling business, and we are not acting for any of them. Nothing here is an invitation or an inducement to gamble.

No warranty on what we publish

We check everything against primary sources and we say so on the page when we cannot. That is not the same as a guarantee. Prices, opening hours, room counts, ticket costs, star ratings, access rules, legal thresholds and construction schedules all change, sometimes overnight and usually without an announcement.

Every page carries a compiled date. Treat the facts as accurate as at that date and no later. Check with the property itself before you travel or spend money. To the extent the law allows, we accept no liability for loss arising from reliance on anything published here.

Links to other sites

Each sheet links to the relevant resort's official website. Those are plain links with no tracking, no affiliate code and no commercial arrangement of any kind behind them. We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for them, and a link is not an endorsement. Where a resort's own site was technically unsafe to link on the day we compiled, we say so on the sheet and give no link.

Intellectual property

The text, diagrams, scores and structure of this site are ours.

Resort names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners and are used here for identification and review, which is what nominative use is for. No affiliation or endorsement is claimed or implied.

The photographs are not ours. Every one is used under the Creative Commons licence named in the credit beside it, and those credits are part of the licence, not decoration. If you reuse an image from this site, your obligation is to the photographer under their licence, not to us. If you are one of those photographers and a credit is wrong, write to [email protected] and it will be corrected.

You may quote us with attribution and a link. You may not republish sheets wholesale.

Age

This site discusses venues that are restricted to adults. Every casino covered here that publishes an age limit sets it at 21 and over, and limits differ by jurisdiction. If you are under the legal age in your own country, this content is not for you. See also our responsible gambling page, which we would rather you read than this one.

Corrections and changes

We correct errors on the sheet where they appeared and update the compiled date. We may change or withdraw any part of this site at any time. Material changes to these terms are dated at the top of this page.

Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
